Exhibit No. 8: Note (translation):
HÔTEL-DIEU HOSPITAL
Quebec City
|
Consultation - urgent: Mr. Psychiatry (sic.) you are asked to examine
this patient (who is) at the present time hospitalized for Pt known from
the point of view Opinion psych. Pt does not want to be hospitalized.
(Sign.) A. Hudon M.D. |
The way this note was written speaks for itself. No reasonable and literate person would write like this. Nevertheless one could guess that the "doctor" is urgently asking a "Mr. Psychiatry" for a "psych" opinion. The note begs the same questions as the previous note: What is the reason for the urgent consultation; to whom was I known and for what; and what is wrong about not "wanting to be hospitalized"? And, as I mentioned in Exhibit No. 4, I had never been hospitalized in Hotel-Dieu Hospital.

REPORT:
11-12-71. Dr. Delev, a noncooperative schizo-paranoid, known to Dr. Grenier who had already sent his case history to St. Michel Archange Hospital, was brought by Dr. Louis Dionne by emergency for psychiatric evaluation and gastro-duodenal investigation (ulcer?). Delirious, paranoid, had threatened to kill his wife with an axe, hallucinating, mistrustful... Noncooperative Dx Schizo-paranoid Danger of homicide - Rec. confinement.

This note contains outright fabrication. I had never even heard of Dr. Grenier
at this time. I was not known to anyone as an "noncooperative schizoparanoid",
and so forth. This is a totally fraudulent note, because it was based on
a shameless lie by Dr. Grenier.
