Exhibits No. 9-12: Commitment Certificates
For a better understanding of the moral qualities of my "attending" psychiatrists, examine the four copies of the Commitment Certificate. It is clear that all four differ in one way or the other.
The first certificate (Exhibit No. 9) I received as a "document" initialled by my first lawyer Philip Goulston. On the first page, only my name and the word "verso" are written. On the second page is written: "Dr. Delev, a noncooperative schizoparanoid, known to Dr. Grenier who wrote a case history... " I had never seen this doctor before and in addition, there was no signature of witness required by law. On the basis of this certificate, I was arrested and confined for six months.
The other certificates are also fabricated; there are many changes, especially in the square - different dates (on the first version no date, on the II and IV versions 12/11/71, on III version 22/11/71) of the involuntary treatment, an added diagnosis and signature of a witness and other data.
The very existence of four certificates speak for itself: To have several different documents on the same issue -- my internment -- indicates an absolute loss of decency by the psychiatrists.
The differences in writing the Certificates are highlighted.
