We choose them
and all we get in return
is power-abuse
so my questions got to be
are we all stupid
are we all blind
are we all deaf and dumb
or do we just like to be stepped on
by those well paid so-called leaders
that lead our society to the bottom
where the pressure will crush everything
someday soon someday very close

Who are you my friend
don't you understand
we are closing into the end
who are you my friend
can you please tell me that

We choose them
and we believe in them
and we arrange our life after them
so my questions got to be
when will we all have some work to go to
when will the hospital queues disappear
when will old people in old people's homes
be taken out from the halls and the bathrooms
and given a proper room to end their days in
when will the homeless and street people
get a place where they can feel safe and secure
that it will never happen to them again
that the bank send the police to kick them away
since they lost their underpaid job
because the company should earn more somehow

We choose them
because they always say that they can lead the way
but you have to wake up now and understand
that it is the completely wrong way
and there is nothing that can make up for the damages
they have caused to the world and everyone in it
but we have to stop
and select a new group of leaders
that know what it is all about
before there is nothing left to be shared in harmony
and it all ends up in great agony
and fear and tears forever
