WHY ARE YOU SO AFRAID

You better learn how to show
some attitude and gratitude
when people try to help you
don't just turn your back and go
I know it is easier to say no
but you will gain nothing in the long run
you should try to say something loving
once in a while it can bring you joy and fun
and it will loosen up your worried personality
and you will not fear to come close to anyone
like the way you did before

It is only words but they can hurt like a sword
you got to let them come from your heart
I know that it can be extremely hard
but you must express yourself the right way
if not people will repulse the way you behave
it is only words but you got to know what you say
if not you will cut every tie and feeling off

You better start to open up your shell
would you really end up cold and alone
without friends family and a partner
the things that are the most important to have in life
and if not it all feels like a neverending hell
don't just walk away
and believe in your angry and bottom frozen heart
that nobody are so good and tough as you
because there will come a day
when you will start to wish
that you could turn the tide
and that you could travel back in time
and you will experience that hell is not a place
it is your one and only life
and there is no safe place to hide
since you are so afraid of yourself and that you could
let somebody come close and love you
I know it so well and so do you

Why are you so incredible afraid
do you think that you have to sacrifice your soul
just to make some new friends
and to keep them
why are you so anxious and reticent all the time
you should know we are all equal
and you've got to shape up
before you end up living like a hermit
talking to yourself about nothing else
than your unlucky and lost life
