WHAT A WONDERFUL WORLD

Don't they know that the cold war is over
so why the increase
in the import and export and the production
of all these horrible things
that only can cause death and nothing else
should it not be enough
with what we've already got
or is it so that their brain is to small
to really understand
that we can create more useful things to
play and live with
or do they try to become the toughest boy in class
so they can scare eachother to piss in their hot pants
I don't know but it seems very stupid to me

First we sell them weapons and mines
and when they have played for a little while
we have to send some aid and out-place the UN
and if they have behaved to badly and killed too many
we convict them for some of their crimes
and so we let them go wherever they want

Don't you know that the cold war is over
I am telling you now that it really is
and there is nothing more to be afraid of
and if somebody tell you something else it is a cruel lie
just to make you continue with your support
so now you have to see and listen
at those people who are selected to rule our land
and you have to separate between
those who are willing to continue the old and corrupt
or those who seem to have some normal thoughts
inside their well schooled politician heads
but you probably know as well as me
when a politician get a chance to hold a speech
it is totally impossible to tell the truth
and all our good visions are still out of reach
what a wonderful world we live in

Don't we know that there is a lot of hot wars
all around the world
or do we like to see every cruel thing on our TV
since we don't make it stop
and don't you come and tell me that it is impossible
because we can choose the leaders in our land
and they must follow or will
or step out of the way
if they don't stop supporting the dictators in those land
who is breaking normal civil rights in every way
so they can increase their personal wealth and power
