I made it out to the lake and had Odie’s clutch pulled without too much trouble…although I had to buy a new tool to accomplish the job. …I bought a "Motion Pro Clutch Tool" from Chapparal. This is essentially a vise grip with ends that make easy to hold the clutch basket so you can loosen the nut that’s holding it in the engine.
Once Odie’s clutch was safely in a box I returned to Dallas and installed it. The donor clutch definitely made a difference, and now I need to button up the bike, tightening up the bolts on the swingarm, etc.
