An Intro
Some of you may already be wondering why I started a site like this. *clears throat* This is where my story begins:
I was a happy LotR fetus in the prime of my third trimester and- too much of a beginning you say?.....Alright. It all started with my teachers. As an assignment in the fifth grade, we were told to read J.R.R Tolkien's The Hobbit. So we did and that's how I became--oh, shall we say--obsessed. I soon looked for more Tolkien material and was quickly directed to his next trilogy, The Lord of the Rings, which proved to be an equally enjoyable book. (I use 'enjoyable' as an understatement.) But when the "Fellowship" movie came out last December, I jumped at the chance. This opened a new door to my unquenchable thirst for LotR stuff and I also became obsessed with Elijah Wood *sigh*. (Sorry Legolas Ladies.) And here's where I am today: creating this nearly-crappy geocities site about LotR (and Elijah/Frodo) just to show the web world out there how much of a freak I am and I'm glad you're here, because (I hope) you too will prove to me and everyone out there that you are a full-fledged "Ringer" and Tolkien fanatic. So go out there an make me proud!
