To answer this you need to answer several questions including temperature (room, ambient enclosure and hot spot), humidity (room and enclosure) and substrate. So you find out that your water dragon needs upper 70�s ambient and a 90 deg hot spot. Your room is only 70 deg. You need a solid material (wood, plastic or glass) The humidity needs to be high . They need a water dish and they are going to splash. They also need a moist substrate. Knowing this you can determine that you need either glass or plastic. Then you find out that they do not see glass or plastic and constantly rub their nose on it and scratch at it. Ok, plastic is out leaving you with glass.
