MEMBERSHIP

Riley works to provide stability to its neighborhoods so that they remain a pleasant place to live, work, shop, and to be entertained. Riley's proximity to downtown Indianapolis makes it especially important to the perception of the quality of life in Indianapolis overall. If the Riley area is thriving and productive, it reflects well on all of Indianapolis and enhances people's attitude about the city. Riley provides stability to the Riley area by:

• Supporting home-ownership among famililes and individuals in all income levels
• Developing housing for people with special needs (e.g., low-income individuals, physically disabled people, low-income elderly, and others not currently being served by market-rate housing)
• Organizing residents of the Riley area so they will take pride in their neighborhood and support one another Identifying barriers to neighborhood stability and working with agencies to develop social services to address these problems (e.g., substance abuses, crime)
• Supporting existing businesses in the area as well as attracting new businesses that compliment and enhance the community

How To Join:

Riley Area Development Corporation relies on the support of businesses and individuals through membership contributions in order to support its operating expenses. All donations to Riley are deductible for income tax purposes. The categories for membership are:

• Corporate - Businesses whose annual revenues exeed $1 million
• Business - Businesses whose annual revenues are less than $1 million
• Nonprofit Organization - Social service agencies, churches, government agencies, and other tax-exempt organizations
• Individual - Individuals or families not representing a business or organization

Unless otherwise requested, all members will be listed in the organizations annual report and membership directory. A copy will be sent to each member. All contributions will be acknowledged with a receipt and either a membership card (for individuals) or a certificate (for businesses and nonprofit organizations).

The following is a list of minimum contribution levels for each giving club by membership category. Gifts of any amount, regardless of membership category, are always welcome.
