Broken Catfish
Broken Catfish was born on October 13, 1975. He began his musical career as
an opera singer at age 15. It looked like Catfish was going to be one of
the greatest tenors that ever lived, that is until he found a bass guitar
in an old pawn shop.
He began playing the same notes over and over, completely forgetting even the most basic element of how to sing. For hours, Catfish would practice those notes over and over, and to this day they are the only notes he knows how to play. Catfish moved to New York City where he attempted to begin a solo bass career, unfortunately no one really liked to hear 45 minutes of a bass player playing the same notes. It was looking grim for Catfish until one day he came across Jasper Wilkins and Jo-Jo Midnight in a blues club. After a 27 second rehearsal he was the newest member of Blues Wanderer. Catfish convinced Jo-Jo and Jasper that the only way to really make a name for themselves was to tour so they sold Jasper and Jo-Jo's apartment and bought a tour bus, and since Catfish was the only one with a license, he became the driver. They had a string of mildly successful gigs until one night after a show they entered what they thought was a bar. They began making drinks and after the smoke cleared they realized it was a High School chemistry lab .
After the chemistry lab explosion that struck all of the members blind, Catfish continued to drive the bus. To this date he has been responsible for 6,543 hit and runs.
