Rieger Farms call it Grass-Only Beef The cattle grown for "Grass-Only Beef" have the distinction of never having eaten anything other than forage (pasture grasses and hay). This exceptional product comes from cattle raised their whole lives on grass and hay. They spend their days entirely outdoors on pasture from spring to fall and eat hay during the winter months. |

As in nature, their rate growth is determined by their genetics and the quality of their grass, not hormonal implants or growth promoting additives. Raising cattle on grass alone requires more knowledge and skills than in a traditional system. |
