Farm RV Program. Be an active part of our farm for a day, a weekend, a week or longer. Take part in farm activities and workshops. Plant and harvest from the organic experimental garden with staff and eat the best. Organic farming is more than just raising vegetables or beef by a set of rules. It is a dynamic process that continually unfolds in unforeseeable ways. Our underlying approach is to work with natural processes, by letting things unfold organically. We respect the wisdom of nature and its delicate web of relationship. Humans are an important element on the farm, as are domestic and wild animals, plants, stones, water etc. As people, we take turns as students open to new ways, and then as teachers who pass on what we have learnt. Farm RV sites rates 2009 Farm-RV Rates $28.00+ No Taxes Wilderness RV-sites available. Restrictions may apply for RV units over 38 feet. Wilderness RV-sites can not be used by units of 38 feet and longer. Please check. Rates include; 2 adults, extra adult (each) $10,00 Children 0-12 yrs (each) $1.00, children 13-17 (each) $3.00 Maximum one vehichle and trailer. Either one (but not both) may be an RV. All RV units must have flush toilets. No tents or pop-ups allowed. All Farm RV sites are rual sites and do not provide: Power, phone, showers or TV connections. Please check with rules and regulations for Farm-RV sites. RV units enrolled in one of our Farm RV program pay in addition: One day Farm RV Program; 1 adult $25.,00 Three days Farm RV Program: 1 adult $60.00, One week or more for Farm RV Program: Monday to Friday Please ask for rates. Preparing soil, water conservation, different plants and herbs, harvest of your own vegetables. Noxious weeds and invasive plants. Principles of " Grass-Only Beef" .. Seeds, garden tools will be provided by Rieger Farms. Participants have to supply their own save foot wear, to be abe to participate and working on the farm. Hats and water bottles are recommended during the summer months. During your Farm RV Program you can also stay in our B&B "Place Victoria" which is located in a park like setting, and part of Rieger Farms.
