Riding for Miracles held its inaugural horse show in April 2001 at the Senator Bob Martin Eastern Agricultural Center. This event allowed horse enthusiasts in the area to take part in a horse show and raise money for the Children's Miracle Network. To date Riding for Miracles has donated nearly $35,000 to the Children's Miracle Network, this money stays in the area and will be used to help kids in eastern North Carolina. Many thanks go out to the participants, volunteers and the sponsors for their generous contributions that not only made this event possible but, made it a great success.
The 7th Annual Riding for Miracles Horse Show is scheduled for April 7 & 8, 2006 at the Senator Bob Martin Eastern Agricultural Center and hopes to raise even more money. The classes to be held are for children and adults seeking fun, comaraderie and competition while helping to raise funds for a worthy cause. This year you will notice a change in format, we will be having a 2-day hunter/jumper event: Saturday Classes and Sunday Classes. |
