Congratulations all on a game well-played. Both teams worked hard for every
point. The scores were close throughout all 3 games. And bot was being unusally
cruel by having champ rounds like every 5 minutes. Then, poor blackbird was
having trouble staying in the room. Despite all the distractions, we focused on
the game and pulled together as a team and won games 2 and 3.
blackbird, make sure you bring the super glue to the next game!

--------------------------------------------------------------------------- It
was an all out Novemberfest 'tween the Pack and the LOL but from our opening
lead of 8-1, the confidence went up, leaving one to wonder who the heck let
the dogs out?
In both games, we screeched to a halt at the brink of 29, the last of which
was followed by a champ round. So one might say this game was essentially 3
rounds longer because of 2 points. But fortunately, I got to see the whole
thing before I went to work so lucky me. In the first game, our 29 was
followed by a double point round, giving us that rare chance to accumulate a
"ridic"ulously high score. We didn't pass 40, but we won the game
and that's what counts. Great job everyone and thanks Six Pack for a lively
Monday night.

It took threats of being sent off to boot camp, but we managed to end a 3 game
losing steak with an awesome win against the Rats who played hard and put up a
huge fight!
Game one was our game all the way - starting off with Men's names beginning with
R and a 7 - 3 lead. Health Club Things was next (double point) and the Rats
made it close 15 - 13. It stayed close 23-22 with Sayings With Three and they
came within one point with Dog Things. One Word Beatles Songs gave us a slight
edge 29 - 26 and we took the win 34-31 with things associated with autos.
Game Two began with James Taylor Songs and a 5 - 4 lead by the Rats. We tied it
up at 9 with Types of Falcons. The Rats resumed the lead with High School
Things 14-13 and kept the lead for the rest of the game, winning 31-24 after
Culinary Processes, Shades of Red and Asian Capitals.
Luxemborg started off game three and the Rats took a commanding lead of 8 - 2.
They stayed ahead 12 - 5 with Types of Pasta. God Bless Double Point Rounds
especially food related , for they are our strong point! We took the lead 21-16
with a double point Donut Shop Cat. The Rats rallied and narrowed the score to
23-22 with Words with Double R. We kept a 28-26 lead with Space Missions and
another Double Point Cat gave us the win - Starts with Old. Final Score 42-30.
Hey - that musta been slow working poison on them donuts huh?
NO BOOT CAMP - YAY!! |
