The Wonders started off the night great.  A Wonders SWEEP in the first cat, Africa on the Atlantic, 9-0.  We kept the lead throughout TV Bosses, 22-14.  The Wonders finished the first game, 30-23, with Zappa Songs.  The 2cd game, we started with a 6-3 lead, w/ words that start with HAM. We held off LOLERS through Guys names w/ 7 letters, 10-6.  Then the LOLERS new their Staits and took the lead 28-25.  LOLERS won the game knowing Doo-Wop bands! Final score 32-26.
The last game we wiggled & jiggled, but just couldn't get the lead.  LOLERS started the game with a 6-4 lead and finished the game knowning Canadian Universities, going on to win it. 33-23.
Good Game LOLERS!!!!

---------------------------------------------------------------------------

In the first round of this game, the Wonders swept us 9 nothing in African Countries on the Atlantic!  We had a couple good rounds throughout the rest of the game, including a 7-3 round of Jackson people, but they won in the end 30-23.

In the second game, things looked equally hopeless when they took a 6-3 lead on us with HAM words, then eventually had us in a 21-15 deficit following Valentine's Day stuff, 7 letter men's names and things in a Bird Cage.  We had a great round on things associated with sleep (Sapph seems to know those hypnagonic hallucination ones..wtg Sapphieee!), then by a total miracle we took the LEAD 28-25 on Straits!!!  We wound up winning that one.

The third game, we just took control from the beginning, particularly a masterful sweep on Air Lines, I never expect us to do good on that cat but we always do!  The Wonders had a good round on Denzel movies, but we had an equally good round on countries with a coastline, and took game 3 with a final score of 33-23.  As far as I know, no scrapple was brought into the room lastnight.  We're ready for 2 more sessions, bring it on BABY!

This was two quick games...

More equality rounds than usual, and a hand from Bon Jovi Songs, and we were the winners.

And - One more thing - the hidden category - this time it wasn't sea anemones, but north by northwest.

Wattle garnered MVP honors for playing with war wounds (ouch!)

Rockers started off well and kept up the pace the entire first game.  Second game was a little closer, Fourplay started the first game ahead, then lost the lead, and was on the heels of the Rockers throughout until the end.

CC and fitr played well tonight, as always :) and helped keep the team afloat throughout both games.

I took notes, but the "couch" medicine must be getting to me (and if only I could say that was my worse typo of the evening)

Here's what I got:
Demi Moore, "fire" words and phrases, knights of the round table, double round cars with animal names. Final score: Rocks 30 Fourplay 25

Game 2 was men's names beginning with R, words that contain the word "men", androgynous names (enough already, bot), and just when we thought it couldn't get worse, dinosaurs! spell check anyone? Then came things tourists carry, Andy Griffith (I still don't believe that "from the diner" is juanita's last name...), and Sheryl Crow songs. Final score once again: Rocks 30 Fourplay 25
Congrats to the raccoon! Good game, fourplay!

(our_report)  In game with small turnout for both teams, the raiders took 2 from the lizards.   Both teams discussed the cons of the ban on ircs from talkcity.  Guess there arent many pros about it. Good game lizards.
