(our_report)

Game one was close from go right til the end.  Throughout most of the game only 1 point seperated us!  We started off with types of Clubs and took the lead 5-3.  The 2nd cat, Arctic Nations gave Fourplay the lead 9-7.  Fourplay stayed up front 14 - 12 with Eygyptian Dieties. Major World Cities gave us back the lead which we held for the rest of the game.  Children's Toys was next followed by Furniture.  With a score of 26-25 it was anybody's game.  The final cat 3 letter words beginnig with C gave us the win 31-30.

We started off the 2nd game with Back to the Future and the lead of 5 - 2.   We surprised everyone with our ability to spell and count and score alot of points with 7 letter mens names.  (Great Job Libby & Thena!!) bringing the score to 14-3.  From there, we kept the wiggling and the momentum going and continued to pull ahead to victory.  We scored well in Things you take to the Beach, Casino Games (where do we spend all our time when we are not in tourney??).  Then finished it off with White Things and Famous Horses.  Final Score 33-14.

Great game everyone!!

What a thrilling night for us!  I was a little scared at first, with only 3 of us against an octet or so of Slobbering Rats and three minutes till game time.  But Bot was able to keep the cats decent until more of us got there.

We started with a 7-2 lead on ELO  Nacho's obviously a big fan of 'em!  They managed to bring our lead down by one on things on a Desk, but we pretty much cut our own path straight to the end by stealing away with 7 answers on both the "Rev" and "Fly" cats.

The second game started out similarly  with the LOLers taking a 6-1 lead on Populous cities.  We proceeded to go way up to an 18-7 lead with Christmas Decor and Tarot stuff.  Some of us were too busy imitating those psychic commercials to even play  I laugh even now as I think about it! "Lemme give you some advice, the man you're having an affair with, is married."  *click* anyway where was I?  So with the score at 18-7 LOLers, the Rats made a ferocious comeback on us with horse supplies, a double pointer no less, and almost tied it back up right then and there, 22-19.  When Michael Douglas's name warped across the cybersea and onto our screens, I'm sure I wasn't the only one who was reminded of when Six Pack nailed us to the wall on that cat last time!  Fortunately we were able to hold our own this time around, maintaining a lead of 27-23, and of course this was more than enough to take the win on a simple cat like Fitness Center Stuff.

Great game Ratohoneys, it was a lotta fun!!!

(our_report)  Game 1 started fairly slowly.. the first two rounds each ended in a tie.. then six-pack took the lead on the tony musicals cat, swept the "things associated with a police officer" cat, and wrapped it up with James Brown songs.  Game 2 was fairly even until we hit the Janet Jackson songs cat.. WTG mocha_love!!  Packers also scored heavily in the Island groups cat, and polished off the game with the Olympic cities.  In all fairness, the Packers did also have the advantage of having almost every player on the team show up for the game.  WTG TEAMIES!!!
