We had it all together and we played hard, not giving the Lizards much of a chance to score. Game one started off with half of the players not knowing if we were even playing, some of the players not knowing who Kafka was and the wonders sweeping the cat - scoring 8 points. We held the lead and only let the Lizards score 1 point in each cat to follow!! We knew our Cars Songs, 3 letter words beginning with "E", Kevin Kline Movies and Things assoc. w/ a Prom. The 2nd game started off with a Types of Trees cat and a more evenly matched score of 6 - 3. Words including ATE was next followed by Things Assoc. w/ the Alien Movies. The wonders Swept the next cat and stole all 10 points with words with at least 4 O's. Things on a cell phone was next followed by Duran Duran Songs which we scored 9 points in!! Great Game Lizards!! We gave it all we had but they were on speed tonight and they pulled the rug right out from under our feet! The first game, they finished us off in four short rounds, including a double point Things You Get In The Mail where they killed us 16-4. The only cat where we managed to grab 'em for just a bit was the Sharks cat...we all know pirates hate sharks don't we! It was a short lived bit of control we had, they won in the end on Beach Boys songs, 33-15. In the second game, we had a nice lead of 4-1 on Paris Stuff, but that didn't last long when they pulled out a can o' whoop-ass on us in Camera Manufacturers then beat us 9-1 twice in a row on Hot Stuff and Olympic Winter Events (opposites attract?), 25-8 was the score now we managed to drag it out one more round, both teams score on the Big Valley. They finished us off on Populous Cities 34-14. Better luck next time to us!! Great game RAIDERS

(MVP) Sinsear (our_report) Wow, talk about some great games today!! The Rockers had great attendance and were ready to ROCK & ROLL. At one point during game 1, the Rats were behind by 8 pts, and managed to catch up on a double point round, but the Rocks hung tough and made the Rats scurry to the sewer to ready ourselves for game 2. The Rats took a dip and a sip from the sewer pool, which seemed to energize us with a win in Game 2. Game 3 was hard fought by both teams. The lead went back and forth during the entire game. But the Rats were able to "squeek" by with the help of Ev's Flintstone Vitamins!! Excellent game Rocks!! Til we meet again! SLOBBER ON!!

Many of our members got booted at the beginning of the first game. The score was 16-2 by the time they were able to return. The Wonders are a great team and a lot of fun to play. They took us to the cleaners tonight, but there's always tomorrow!!

Raiders broke out of the gate with the clothing cat, and soared ahead on double point category of things you get in the mail and finished off with bee gees songs. The second game had a rough beginning with the Paris category, but with categories such as phrases with the word "hot" and a geog cat, we never looked back. GOOD GAME RAIDERS.
