First of all, I have to say that these were the best two games we have played in a long time, even though we lost.  I was anybodys game at any time.
I came in late for the first game.  We tied the last round 30-30 when each team thought they had won for sure. With the last round, LOL's winning 33-37.
The second game 4-4 tie.  Tie seems to be the word for this game.  The next round we had a one point lead with Types of Butterflies cat.  Michaelanglo works was the next round.  Thank goodness Vodka and Chey knew their art!! LOL
The end of the game came again with X-men characters....tied at 30...unbelievable!!!  With the next cat being Characters on Melrose Place, I thought it could be anyone's game...NOT!!! Tied again....38-38.  I was so excited, I can't even tell you what the last category was, but, LOLers finally took the game with a SCORE of 43-40.
Great playing by both teams!!!!!
WIGGLE ON WONDERS!!!!!!  GREAT GAMES!!!!!

It was tooth and nail all the way with the Wonders this morning  I thought that last game was never gonna end!  Between vodka's painting portraits and pining over Darrel, whoever that is, and Doc's fighting for his cheese, it was gettin' just a little messy in there.  Oh well, the Talk city Janitors will get bookoo overtime.

In the first game, we took a 6-3 lead on Tom Hanks films.  The Wonders had a few rounds where they came to within just one or two points of us, but we managed to maintain the lead all the way until bird groups, when we TIED at 30.  Fortunately the last cat was LOLer friendly, and one of my personal faves, Alaska Crap.  So we grabbed the win with 7 answers 37-33.

Game two was a little different.  We started with a tie on Bridges, then a lead on Volcanoes, but then the Wonders started slithering (oops) all over us with their knowledge and speed on some rather un-LOLer friendly cats such as butterflies, China Manufacturers and Michaelangelo, which was what inspired vodka's painting of light (I stole it by the way for the empty spot above my bed..no more sleepless nights for me!)  The next cat, Lizards, we went into it in a 25-17 deficit  but fortunately it was a good one for us and we managed to stay in it at 23-29.  Final cat, or so we thought was X-men, which we must finally be learning because we managed to TIE it up at 30 again!  So into overtime we went again with Melrose Place characters, a double pointer, only to come out with each team getting 4.  So with sudden death, a 38-38 score and TV Brands, the LOLers grabbed our brooms and went to work, winning game two 43-40.  So there ya have it!

(our_report)  this shouldn't take long lol.  after an excellent attendance record of late, only 3 Sixers showed up today.  We managed a valiant effort in game 1, only losing 30-26.  But then game 2 started.  What to say about a 32-7 loss?  As little as possible lol.  We were outnumbered around 13-3 by the end.  WTG Rats for getting the job done, and keeping the pain to a minimum.  GREAT MATCH!!  And wtg sixers for an excellent season so far!

Not much creativity into this report as it was too darn early for this Rat to think. So, here are the facts as I saw them.  Game 1:  the first cat of Dan Akroyd films gave a 5-2 lead to the Sixers.  The 2nd cat was names of Rivers, which caught us up a bit, bringing the score to 7-8.
Words with "house" in it gave the Rats a 15-13 lead.  The next cat of 3 letter "e" words kept us
ahead. The final cat of Bob Marley songs brought us Rats victory with a 30-26 score.  Game 2:  The first cat in game 2 was state nicknames, 5-2, our
favor.  The 2nd cat of 3 letter "k" words, the Rats swept, bringing the score to 13-3.  Beanies babies brought us even further ahead at 1-5.  The Rats managed another sweep with types of spiders cat(naturally...spiders are often our daily diet).
The last cat of Oxymorons gave us the 32-7 lead and victory of this tourney game.  Thanks for the game Sixers.

The Raiders showed up in force, pecking away through both games. Round 2 of the first game had the Raiders mooning their opponents with their astronomical knowledge of topographical regions of the moon.
Special kudos to The Raiders' resident trekkie, Ps299, for her outstanding scoring on the Star Trek 4 series cat.  Game 2 began with a double point ranks of
the U.S. army cat, and The Raiders took an early lead of 14-2.  Although The Lizards were outnumbered, they fought hard and
slithered away up until the end.  Good games everyone!!
