Pages of Avalon |

Avalon prides its self on its dedication and ability to mold our nations future by providing young adults ages 8 to 18 with mentors they can look up to. Each child is paired with a mentor that has common interest or background who will teach them everything they need to know in the areas of instruction they chose. Young adults will learn about the many career areas of the equine industry and how they can contribute to the equine world, all while learning valuable leadership skills that will prepare them for the future.
The Pages of Avalon�s mission is to provide peace of mind for parents and a fun constructive learning environment for young Adults. While producing well educated leaders that will contribute to the continuing successes of the equine world and the community.
We also offer this program specially tailored to the needs of "at risk" youth (troubled teens). We do not separate the two groups by title due to the fact we do not want the kids to feel alienated or singled out by the others. -> more information <- |

The White Knights of the Round Table |
|
|
|
After completion of the Pages program students have an opportunity to become part of the round table. Students can be offered a position as a volunteer, becoming mentors to incoming students, sharing stories of what its like to be where they were at in life, and how simple choices can change them. We feel by inviting students back to the barn as mentors they come full circle, and they can provide common ground between staff and new students. Allowing new students to latch on to someone that they feel may understand them better because they have dealt with what they are dealing with. |

Informing the World |

We offer a wide range of programs targeted to everyone in the community to inform and teach them of many of the isues Avalon addresses. Including; horse care, "at risk" youth, rescue, volunteering, new horse ownership, and many other topics. |

Lessons |
|
|
|
We offer beginer to advanced English lessons in everything from equitation to jumping and the show ring. Beginner to intermediate Western from equitation to barrles and pole bending, preparing you for training in cutting ropeing or what ever your dreams may be. We also offer trials, and endurance rides. |
