| Camelot will offer a wide range of individuals dedicated to helping horse owners, boarders, and teens. Currently we only consist of stable manager and instructors that know to much, but we look forward to expanding our staff and their qualifications as the facility gains clients, and interest. | ||||||||||
| ~ Intern ~ Our summer or winter internship is for any individual intrested in stable management, equine rehabilitation, equine rescue, or working with "at risk" youth. Note: You will be doing some of everything either way. ~ Riding Instructor ~ A minimum riding ability is required of intermediate ability, advanced riding skills is prefered, And you must be able to work with a wide range of students, and abilities. Note: Riding skills placement test is required as part of your interview (be prepared to ride), as well as teaching a lesson. ~Stable Manager ~ Stable managers are responsible for helping to run the barn. You must be able to handle a wide range of situations, and must be able to work by your self and with others. ~ Counselor ~ Minimum of an assosciates in psychology, or child and adolecent behavior is required, or training with experince in counseling including suicide and depression. ~ Psychologist ~ position is avialable to any Masters in child or family psych as head of counseling for the center. You will be over seeing all the counselors, assigning counselors to students and helping with problems and evaluations. As well as providing counselor training for new and returning staff. ~ Office Manager ~ Will tend to all office work, paper work, scheduling vet appointments, sending out program materials, marketing, filling, est. You get to do all the fun paper and phone stuff while the horse people play ( just messing, we need you to allow us to be more efficient and we love you for it) |
