Reagan's Page
Reagan came to me at 12 weeks of age. I wasn't looking for a second dog, Ricky was only just over 1 yr of age. However I have never looked back and can't imagine life with just one Border Collie.

Reagan also embarked on training as soon as he was old enough. My mum handled him for a while and then I took over. Training 2 dogs in obedience and agility that were at very similar levels has provided some challenges.

Reagan has benefited from my mistakes with Ricky. He has overtaken his older brother gaining his AD title in June of 2000 and his ADX in April 2002.

Unfortunately Reagan was diagnosed with arthritis in his shoulder early in 2001. Fortunately we caught it early so were quickly able to get him onto supplements and anti inflammatories to slow down the damage. Reagan was able to compete in agility quite comfortably for the remainder of 2001. Early in 2002 he started to some signs of pain after agility so it was with much sadness that Reagan was retired  from agility upon gaining his ADX.

The 2 of us have a new interest now - we have recently begun tracking training. It is a big learning curve for both of us but so far I am enjoying it and Reagan seems to as well. With any luck 2003 will see us enter our first tracking trial.
