A Soldier Like You
I am a dedicated supporter of all our troops in Iraq and all over the world. I believe every American should support them whether they agree with the war or not.
"A Soldier Like You" was written as a token of my appreciation for their service. It is my way of saying thank you for keeping America free. This song was written from the heart, one night in my hotel room. After turning on the news I was saddened by a Soldier sending an, “I love you” message out to his family he has not seen or held in a year. Home sick myself, after only a week away from my family, I was struck by everything that our Soldiers sacrifice for our Freedom. This is how the song, “ A Soldier Like You” was born . .

some who served in Iraq and Afghanistan, sharing their stories and serving
as role models for youth. Some are still teens themselves. They are from
all backgrounds, races and faiths, writing chapters for the Young Heroes
Books.
