Yesterday was a fairly stressful day, starting off as it did with nothing seeimg to work as we were trying to test stuff that absolutely positively had to be delivered to the customers this morning, with an interruption mid-afternoon for me to go to the dentist. Actually the dental hygienist who attended to my cleaning went out of her way to decompress me. She placed some sort of warm anti-stress pillow around my shoulders, and for that matter there's nothing for combatting stress like practicing relaxing your lower lip.But it was back to work, where we kept at it until after midnight, and back first thing this morning to finish things up. Midafternoon snow started falling, the first of up to eight inches forecast for this weekend, but the lack of sleep must be getting to me, for after arriving home I turned around and drove back to the office, for something which it turns out I hadn't forgotten there in the first place. This makes me all the more angry at myself for skidding in my driveway on the return trip, going up over the curb, and I think messing up a wheel to a degree that will only be ascertained once the sun is shining again or perhaps with a trip or a tow to the dealer.
