I'm still waiting for my date to call, if you want to put a brave face on it.But that's okay, because yesterday I went to the Wild Oats market that just opened in town. Cool jazz is playing when you walk in, then they had samples of fruit and salsa and scrambled egg whites and even free sushi. I went because they advertised organic broccoli for a dollar for two pounds (and even regular broccoli is never less than a buck at all the other stores), found a sale on Ethnic Grocer entrees so with my Mambo Sprouts coupon book it was only about a buck, then finally got to use the coupon for a free package of Nasoya tofu that I've been carrying around for years, so the total haul cost me less than $2.50.
I was probably more excited about Wild Oats than about the date.
Today, on the other hand, is the first meeting of the Colorado Springs Sweepers, at Ruby Tuesday's. I'm going, because at this point I appreciate a sure thing.
