Well folks, we finally got in a week of ice racing!!!! After a very dissapointing start to a shortened season, we had 39 cars registered  Saturday for some very close and exiting racing on a very racey track. The track surface started out to be in excellent shape, and did deterioate some throught the day but held up quite well. The last feature of the day was postponed due to the lack of dalight but will be the first race for next week. Eau Claire's Steve Hallquist come away with a clean sweep, winning all four Front Wheel Drive events while Barrons Jarrod Amoundson posted three wins and one heat runner up position in the 6/8 Full Size Class. Rice Lake's Tadd Davis will be hopeing for another win in the Comp4 make-up feature to make it three wins and one feature runner up position to the young gun out of Canada, 14 year old Cody Wolkoski, which came right down to the wire in the closest race of the day. This Saturday's racing action will include the four  make-up features from the past two weekends with last weeks Comp4 make-up feature being the first race of the day, followed by regular racing action, then the three make-up features from January 28th (time permitting). Draw cutoff at 12:30 pm, racing to start at 1:00 pm.
