		The cold weather did not stop 37 cars from being registeredered for Rice Lake Ice Racing action on Saturday which included the voting for Best Appearing Cars in all three divisions. With temp's near zero it was almost impossible to try and put water on the track, which started out very fast then went to a one lane track with the high side being the fastest way around. With some work done to the track during intermission a second grove come in and racing continued to be fast,. with some very close racing action. For a second week in a row attempts to get in some make up features were foiled due to time, but will again be tried this week if time permits.. Eau Claire's Steve Hallquist and Cumberland's Al Koltunski were the days big winners, each with three wins, Hallquist taking two features and one heat in the Front Wheel Drive Division while Koltunski took two heats and one feature in the COMP4's with his wife, Karen, taking the other COMP4 feature. Jeff Brueggen of Rice Lake won his first ever feature in the 6/8 Full Size with Barrons Jarred Amundsen taking the other feature win. The Best Appearing Car Awards presented by TJ'S Trophies of Rice Lake went to Kyle Johnson in FWD, Chad Thompson in the COMP4'S and co-winners in the 6/8 Full Size were Troy Holder and Joe Rowan.This Saturday will be regular racing action with draw cutoff at 12:30 pm, racing to start at 1:00 pm.
