Jalfrezi
For much of
my time at Electric Sausage, I had dreamed about actually picking up a guitar
and playing it in our band.
Whether Joe actually ever intended to tour or
even rehearse any of our material was never really known to me, even if we’d
had other band members I’m not sure we would have done.
Now, with Electric
Sausage disbanding, a new band begins. The band is provisionally called
Jalfrezi, a working title, and our line up is as follows:
Paul Webber - Lead Guitar
Richard Corke - Rhythm
Guitar/Backing Vocals
Mark Aslett - Bass Guitar
Sam Eden-Green - Drums
As I am incapable of playing lead guitar to save my life, we have recruited Paul Webber, He has recently confirmed his avalability for the project. Other problems include the fact that Sam already plays drums for a few other bands and that Mark reckons he’ll buy a bass guitar after we’ve been signed because “That’s what the bassist from Travis did, and look at them”, ta Mark.
On the good
side, Sam lives in a big barn somewhere by the Leybourne lakes, and in this
barn he keeps a fat amp. The only
downside of all this is that Richard can no longer consider himself ‘the
talented one’ but he does intend to carry on with the song writing that he is
becoming evermore famous for. One thing’s for sure; we WILL be better than One
Day Elliott. (Poxy One Day Elliott, ‘We’ve been signed by Universal’, Oooooh.)
Anyway, new band - new
material, so here is our new lyrics page with new songs,
