Richard Corke - Rhythm Guitar
Formerly the Guitarist for Electric Sausage, this Man of Kent eventually quit due to the fact that he did not want his ‘talent’ to continue being wasted in a band where he had ended up being the only member. Wanting to be taken seriously in music, he decided the only way to do this would be to start a new band with one of his most cynical friends Mark Aslett, if he could bring him round to the idea, he could persuade anybody.
Standing at 5’8” and with 34” circumference, Richard is most definitely, ‘the short fat one’. With Sam in the band however, Richard may no longer be the hairiest member of his band.
Living in excile in London, we caught up with Richard back home in the Muggleton Inn in Maidstone.
He flicked us the bird like the true popstar, "Do you mind? I'm trying to wake up Mark,
he's unconcious". He was more civil later, "I had to leave Electric Sausage, there was no
choice, too many drugs, it was getting to the hard stuff you know, ProPlus, Windeze, not my scene."
Richard makes it clear that he is now clean, "Yeah, I had a shower this morning", a golden shower we suggested?
"No comment" and at that, the interview was over.
