My name is Mary Josephine Czarnowski. I was born on February 6th, 1999, 14 weeks premature. I weighed only 720 grams, or 1 pound, 9 ounces, and I was 13 inches long. I stayed in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) for 82 days. I had many problems while I was there, but thanks to God, and my wonderful doctors and nurses, and all the people who loved me so much, and prayed for me, I grew bigger and stronger. I finally went home to my parents, Frank and Maria, and my big brother Danny, on April 29th, 1999. |

Now I am 2 1/2 years old. I am a healthy, happy little girl. I'm, talking in sentences now, and learning to speak a little Spanish. I use my large vocabulary to talk my parents into just about anything. I love to sing and dance. I also love Elmo, Blue's Clues, and Dora the Explorer. Building with my blocks is one my favorite things to do. I also like to draw and color (mostly on the walls), and I help my Mom in the kitchen all the time. Every day I find new ways to get into trouble, but my parents wouldn't have it any other way. To see more pictures of me, click on the links below. |
