Our Little Miracle
My name is Mary Josephine Czarnowski.  I was born on February 6th, 1999, 14 weeks premature.  I weighed only 720 grams, or 1 pound, 9 ounces, and I was 13 inches long.  I stayed in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU)  for 82 days.  I had many problems while I was there, but thanks to God, and my wonderful doctors and nurses, and all the people who loved me so much, and prayed for me, I grew bigger and stronger.  I finally went home to my parents, Frank and Maria, and my big brother Danny, on April 29th, 1999.
Now I am 2 years old.  I am a healthy, happy  little girl.   I'm saying lots of words now, and sometimes I even  put a few words together!  I recognize a lot of animals, and I know the  noises they make.  I'm starting to learn a few numbers and letters now, and I love to have stories read to me.  I can run now, and I climb on everything.  I also like to sing and dance a lot.  I love Elmo, the Teletubbies, and my baby dolls.  I also like to draw and color (mostly on the walls). Every day I find new ways to get into trouble, but my parents wouldn't have it any other way.  To see more pictures of me, click on the links below.
