Hi! My name is Sabrina, and on this page I will be talking to you on one of my ambitions, a  Veterinarian ! So let's get started!!            Pictures taken from http://www.funnyanimals.f2s.com/dog_pic19.html .       I would like to become a vet, because I really LOVE animals, and without vets probably all animals would be die eventually because they would have no cure for them when they would be sick.    The job of a Vet, is mostly to cure animals, when their owners can't and to give them medicine, if they need any. The job of a vet is also to prevent animals from diseases. For example when we get a shot to prevent us from becoming sick or from catching a disease, weel so do animals because they are also living creatures that need care. A veterinarian's training must include the basic preclinical disciplines of anatomy, histology, physiology, pharmacology,microbiology (including bacteriology, virology, and parasitology ) and pathology. Many veterinarians specialize in the care of small animals, like home pets.      "In most countries of the world, priofessional vets must complete an educational program of from 4 to 6 years of work at the university level, after which they optain a license to practice from some duly constituted authority." 1         1.
