| Above��.A view of class 5A 2-6-4T No2 Blanche (left, taking water) and class 5 No 4 Meenglas at Ballyshannon on 3rd August 1959. Blanche was delivered in 1912 with sisters Alice and Lydia as No 2A Strabane. She was renamed and renumbered in 1928. Blanche was stored at Strabane on closure, surviving to be purchased by the Belfast Transport Museum, and is now at the Ulster Folk and Transport Museum in Cultra, County Down. Class 5 2-6-4T No 4 Meenglas was built in 1907 by Nasmyth Wilson as No 16 Donegal. She was superheated in 1926 and renamed and renumbered in 1937. Meenglas is now at the Foyle Valley Railway Centre E.S.Russell / ColourRail |
