Above..........On 15th of August 1959 a special train for the Ancient Order of Hiberians from Stranorlar to Killybegs, leaving Stranorlar at 10.25 am. It was headed by No 4 Meenglas and is seen from the train through the Barnesmore Gap.

Above .........On the Killybegs line out of Donegal, railcar No 16 pulls over the level crossing to shunt the coach and wagon which it had just brought in from Ballyshannon. The date is the 14th August 1959

Above.........Donegal had a single road engine shed with a water tank and turntable for locomotives and railcars. Here class 5A 2-6-4T No2 Blanche sits on the small turntable on the 19th May 1956 with Jim McMenamin on top.
