Nothing Sacred
University of Lethbridge  October 19th - 23rd.  2004.
In October,  Richard appeared in George F. Walker's Nothing Sacred.  Deemed as a "Canadian Comedy, not a Russian Tragedy" Richard  played the role of Pavel Petrovich Kirsanov:  according to the actor, Pavel was  the "metrosexual of the 1850s." It was not only exciting to play a principle role in a mainstage production, but also an opportunity  to work with director Gail Hanrahan: a guest director visiting from Calgary.

Tartuffe
December 6th and 8th.  2004.
As the final project of the Acting Scene Study class, Richard shared the role of Orgon in Moliere's
Tartuffe.  The role proved very challenging; not only was the play written in verse, but the multiple casting provided an interesting dynamic for the actor.
The Tempest
December 6th and 8th.  2004.
Selected scenes from Shakespeare's The Tempest provided the basis for this exploration by the Voice and Movement class.  The final project involved Richard in choreography to create "The Storm" (playing the role of Gonzalo) as well as an in-depth study into the darker side of Prospero: an abusive master of Ariel.
Noises Off
University Of Lethbridge February 15-19, 2005

As part of the University's Mainstage season, Richard appeared as Garry ( a.k.a Roger Tramplemain) in Michael Frayn's comedy
Noises Off.  The story centered on the mishaps of an English acting company as they toured their latest production, Nothing On. However, it was the action backstage that stole  the show.
