Shortly after Snake boarded an elevator, Snake recieved a call from Master Miller, telling him that Naomi lied about her background and could possibly have been a spy. After this, Snake fought FOX HOUND member Vulcan Raven, who was defeated and revealed that the DARPA Chief, who died, was an imposter, Decoy Octopus, who worked for Liquid. Master then called again and told Snake and Campbell that Naomi is also an imposter, for someone who went missing. But there was no time for this, as Snake had a nuclear attack to sort out. He went to Metal Gear, where Otacon offered to hack into Baker's files to find more information. He heard that the PAL codes |

neccesary to activate the launch were input in the machine. Snake went to the control unit and found Liquid, alivre, talking to Ocelot. Meryl was alive, the PAL codes were input, no response from President George Sears, and a Foxdie vaccine was added to the terroists demands. The name Sergi Gurlukavich was also brought up. After they were gone, Snake went to input the codes. During this time, Master called Snake, telling him that Foxdie, was a disease that caused heart attacks and that it was injected into Snake by Naomi. It caused the deaths of Octopus and Baker. Meanwhile, Campbell had arrested Naomi. After warming up the card keys in the blast furnace, Naomi called Snake, revealing that she is the sister of Frank Jaeger (Grey Fox) and she tried to kill Snake as revenge, using Foxdie. However, before she can reveal the truth about Foxdie, Campbell orders her arrest, leaving Snake furious with Campbell for deliberatley hiding the truth from him. After Snake input the PAL key, the warhead became active, which meant that the codes were not input. Then Snake got a call from Master, who now had menace in his voice and said "Thank you Snake, nothing can stop Metal Gear now." He revealed that Ocelot accidently killed the real DARPA chief while trying to get the codes, so they used him to input the codes. Then Campbell told Snake that Master Miller was dead and the signal came from the base, all along he was talking to .... Liquid. Liquid revealed that the Pentagon were just using Snake to spread Foxdie to kill the terroists so they could recover Metal Gear and the genome soldiers. All of a sudden, Grey Fox came out to help Snake, who wanted him to finish his suffering. He then sacrificed his life to destroy the radome, leading Snake to destroy Metal Gear itself. However, he was knocked unconcience, and when he came to, Liquid revealed that they are identical twins, clones of Big Boss. Then Snake called Campbell, who revealed that Jim Houseman, Secretary of Defence, was going to nuke the place to cover up the truth from the public, and that Meryl was deliberately transferred their the manipulate him. Then Campbell was arrested by Jim Houseman. Snake and Liquid fought and Snake prevailed. With the help of Otacon using the computers to open the doors for escape, Snake rescued Meryl and they escaped. A wounded Liquid tried one last time to kill them, but was killed by Foxdie. Campbell called, saying Otacon was safe, as he contacted George Sears (Solidus) who stopped the nuclear strike. Jim Houseman had been arrested and everything would be fine. However Ocelot had escaped, and sold information on Metal Gear on the black market. Snake realised he would now live a life for others. |

Metal Gear Solid 2: Sons of Liberty: Using an optical diskobtained from Snake during Shadow Moses, Ocelot sold info on Metal Gear on the black market. Snake and Otacon joined Philanphropy, an anti-Metal Gear organisation. They destroyed countless Metal Gears throughout the world. raided by a group of Russians, hoping to use Metal Gear to ressurect communism. The leader was Sergi Gurlukavich. His daughter Olga, was part of the raiding party. Snake fought with Olga, but suddenly an army cypher took a photo of Snake. Otacon then confessed the truth about E.E and warned Snake that it may have been a trap. Snake went down to the holds to take photos of Metal Gear Ray. As he finished, Revolver Ocelot, himself showed up, saying "I'm taking it back to the Patriots". The entire group of Russian terroists showed up and everyone on board was a hostage. Snake hid while he heard Sergi tell plans to rise Russia again to Marine Commander Scott Dolph. |

Ocelot then turned on Gurlukavich, shooting him and Commander Dolph, before pressing the detonater to sink the tanker using semtex. While everyone was in panic, Snake went to Ocelot, who suddenly acted wierd. His arm shook, and the voice of Liquid Snake was heard. Ocelot had replaced the arm, missing because of Grey Fox, with the arm of Liquid. Liquid jumped into RAY and tried to kill Snake, but the flooding was too fast. Liquid turned back into Ocelot and he left, as the Tanker sank. Two years later, the Big Shell cleanup facility left from the Tanker sinking incident, had been raided by Dead Cell and terroists called the 'Sons of Liberty'. Their leader claimed to be Solid Snake, but it couldn't be him, as he died on the tanker. They were demanding thirty billion dollars, and had President of USA, James Johnson as hostage. They threatened to blow the whole shell, poisoning the coastline for years. New FOX HOUND agent Raiden was sent to rescue the hostages and disarm the terroists. His girlfriend Rosemary had to become the analyst, much to Jack's protest. There appeared to Raiden, to be another intruder besides himself, who looked very familiar. Jack reached Strut B, where the President was spotted, all there was were SEALS who had been slaughtered. Then a creature named Vamp appeared and tried to kill Raiden, but the last SEAL saved him. The SEAL's name was Iriquois Pliskin and had great knowledge and seemed very experienced. He knew all about Dead Cell and the Tanker issue two years before. Raiden went to the connecting bridge where he saw that bullets could not hit fortune, the assault failed. |
