A struggle for the liu xing qiu begins between Goku, Pilaf and the RR Army. At Pilaf's secret desert base the RR army obtain the liu xing qiu. They also obtain the wu xing qiu.

Goku and Chichi are reunited at Gyu Mao's village.

Muscle Tower, the RR Army's north district base, is destroyed by Goku.

At 11:02am, Bulma completes her repairs on Goku's dragon radar.

General Blue and Goku battle at Penguin Village. General Blue is repelled by Arale-chan.

General Blue is killed by Tao Pai Pai.

Goku is defeated by Tao Pai Pai in the fight at the holy ground of Karin.

Goku begins his ascent of Karin Tower.

Penguin Village's Village Upper Grade School begins summer vacation.

Early in the morning, Goku finishes climbing Karin Tower. His training to take the super holy water from Karin-sama begins.

As the training enters its third day, Goku takes the super holy water from Karin-sama.

Goku defeats Tao Pai Pai and destroys the RR Army main base.

At Uranai Baba's palace, Goku is reunited with his deceased adoptive father, Son Gohan.

The rainy season at Namu Village begins.

Goku goes on a training journey. He exterminates Kinkaku and Ginkaku at Chao Village. He meets Chin Tai Ken and has a showdown with Ten Ron at the royal games.

Goku passes through the evil realm gates of Cress and faces off against Shura.

When he exterminates Inoshikacho, Goku meets Tenshinhan.

Goku meets Konkichi. He leaves for the 22nd Tenkaichi Budokai on Papaya Island.

- May 7th

The 22nd Tenkaichi Budokai is held. Tenshinhan is the winner. Goku is runner-up.

Piccolo Daimao appears.

At King Castle, the 20th anniversary memorial ceremony of the present King begins.

- May 9th

Goku defeats Piccolo Daimao.

Ma Junior is born.

Goku goes to Kami's palace and for three years after this day, receives Kami's training.

The 23rd Tenkaichi Budokai is held. 18 year old Goku becomes engaged to his opponent, Chichi, in mid-battle. The budokai gleams with Goku's first victory. Runner-up is Ma Junior.

Goku and Chichi hold their wedding ceremony at Fry Pan Mountain. During the ceremony, Gyu Mao Castle is set on fire and in order to put it out, the couple set off to search for the Bashosen[banana leaf fan].

- May 8th

Chichi begins bridal training from old woman Hakkake. Goku finds the Bashosen, but discovering that the fire at Gyu Mao Castle is special fire from the Hakke Furnace, he heads to Gogyo Mountain.

At the Hakke Furnace at Gogyo Mountain, Goku is reunited with grandpa Gohan Son. Goku extinguishes the Hakke Furnace fire.
