Bulma enrolls at North Metropolis high school.

Bulma finds the er xing qiu* [two star ball] in the cellar of her home.

Bulma finds the wu xing qiu [five star ball] in a village to the north.
- September 1st
Goku and Bulma meet. Bulma is on summer vacation.
It is confirmed that Goku's grandfather's memento is the si xing qiu [four star ball].
- September 2nd
In the morning, Goku and Bulma meet Kame Sennin and receive the san xing qiu [three star ball].
- September 5th
Goku exterminates Oolong. They receive the liu xing qiu [six star ball] from the old lady at Paozu.
- September 6th
Goku meets Yamcha.
- September 9th
Goku defeats Yamcha.
In the morning, Kame Sennin extinguishes the fire on Fry Pan Mountain with a "Kame Hame Ha". Bulma finds the qi xing qiu [seven star ball] from the rubble of Gyu Mao Castle.
In the afternoon, Goku punishes the Kinoko City gang, the "Rabbit Gang". The er ~ qi xing qiu are stolen by the Pilaf gang.
At night, all the DBs are assembled and Shen Long appears. After looking at the full moon and turning Ozaru, Goku destroys Pilaf Castle.

Goku and Kuririn become apprentices of Kame Sennin.
- September 11th
Kame Sennin, Kuririn and Lunch fall asleep with food poisoning after eating fugu for dinner the evening before.
- September 14th
At 4:40am, Goku and Kuririn commence training. For eight months thereafter, they throw themselves into their training.
- October 2nd
The second term at the North Metropolis high school begins.
