Last update: Louise is safe in Reno Nevada
after a horrid 23 hour flight. SGP to HK was
fine, after HK thats when it really went down
hill. The flight was early when it landed
in SFO.

3 huge air pockets dips that would make your
arse cringe. @ SFO as UA 1280 was on route
to taxi ffor take off all the on board computers
failed and everyone had to wait for another
45 mins b4 the problem was resolved.

when she was picked up in Reno. :P but she
is having a great time with the grandkids
now so I guess it was all worth it after all.

It's beginning to look a lot like Christmassssss....
It's
almost Christmas... and what better way to get
into the mood then by playing some Christmas
Carols (Update: Temporarily disabled). So here

are our plans for the festive season (tentative):
Dec 24, Tuesday - X'mas Eve - A. Louise's home

Dec 28, Saturday - Our pre-New Year's day party
- U. Myron's home (shifted from Jan 1)
Dec 31, Tuesday - NYE - Dinner & Dance "Samba

Jan 1, Wednesday - Day of rest after dancing the
night away~
Yup, this is the 1st time the whole lot of
us (2 tables) are "going out" this
New Year's Eve. Dec 31st is also A. Dina's Wedding
Anniversary so we thot we'd kill 2 birds with
1 stone.. Initially we were going to go to the
Moulin Rouge-themed NYE Bash at the Singapore
Swimming Club but now we'll be going to Keppel
Club's Samba-night themed party (free flow of
Carlsberg ya see..)

Updates for the past month:
1)
Our Family just had 4 birthday celebrations
in the past month (5 if we include Eni)- Rachel's,
Ryan's, U. Larree's & U. Myron's.. with
lotsa food, lotsa cake.
2)
May left yesterday (Nov 14) for Lourdes on a
private pilgrimage. (1 week)
3)
Nessa will be back today after spending a week
in Rome on a biz trip *lucky devil*

Updates
Updates,
Updates, where shall i start?
1) Ok on Nanny
(a bit late I know): The funeral was held on
Monday, Sept 30 at Holy Trinity Church. I'm
glad I had the chance to go up & do the
1st & 2nd reading for Nanny. Nanny was cremated
at Mount Vernon Crematorium (where else?!~)
. I didn't cry at all from home to church to
mt. vernon, but at the crematorium, final prayers
& goodbyes, I just had to let it all out.
The following day till Saturday we held prayers
at U. Myron's place. On saturday we did a double
session (final day). prayers were at 9.30pm,
and another round at 12midnight. We still hung
around (as usual eating) till 3-ish!!!! Uncle
Myron made (created, printed & laminated)
commemorative prayer cards of Nanny to keep
in out wallets (similar to the ones he made
for us for Uncle Brendan). Such a cute photo
of Nanny, her smile.. just wanna pinch her cheeks.
awww...
2) This past
Saturday Vanessa & Winston celebrated their
1st year anniversary at their home. This time
round they wanted to do something different
- Home-cooked Chinese Food. Hyuk hyuk, Thanks
to Winston's Aunt & Mum, we had an amazing
Feast. Uncle Larree was ever so pleased. haha.
May (Chap Chye & Mushroom with that black
hair thing - yummmm) & Joanne (Ondeh Ondeh
& Some Chinese dessert: Beancurd Skin, Barley,
Ginko Nut thing - yumm) contributed to the dishes.
Sorrrriie I don't know the names but I can sure
eat em. :) Nessa & Winston cut their 1 year
old Wedding Cake (Top Tier) which May had kindly
kept in her freezer for that year. It was full
of brandy... mmmmm.. yum. Not sure if anyone
took any photos that night. I don't remember.
Oh well.
3) Next week
Justin & Joanne will be having a... erm
issit a Housewarming Party? or "Wedding
Thank-You" party???? Or BOTH?? Well I know
it's one of them. Dunno what's on the menu but
what I do know is we'll be getting to see their
wedding pixx. Am Hoping the 2 photos of Glenn
& Me turned out great. Jus & Jo have
made a copy of the photos for me so I'll probably
upload them - some of em for u guys out there
2 see!-
4) Last Sunday,
my sistas, bros-in-law, jus & jo & i
had a "party" at Ren & Ed's new
flat. Yes, They just got the keys. However the
goonz forgot to bring the keys for the tap,
so we used bottled water to wash our hands etc.
We christened her pot, hyuk hyuk. We brought
5 mats for us to sit/lie on, tealights to light
up the place coz there was no bulb. We had Salad
with TupperChef -cooked Chicken Fillet (No OIL
REQUIRED!), Aglio Olio with Bacon & Mushrooms,
Peach & Mango Cheesecakes & Wine &
Diet Coke & Lotsa ICE (No that's NOT a slang
for drugs...) We then took a drive to some deserted
area at Punggol & sat opposite Malaysia.
- that's the best description I could come up
with.
5) I've just
updated my Glenn
& Me page. Info on our Feb 03 trip to
the States & 2 pics of us from Oz are up.

Some
really really really sad news... Nanny passed
away this morning (28 Sept, around 8am)... I
really don't know how 2 take the news... In
a way I'm glad Nanny is at peace now, with no
more suffering *sigh*.. but at the same time
I'll miss her physical presence tremendously...
the cuddles & kisses I used to give her....
selfish, I know... but that's just how I feel.
I guess we can say it was just a matter of time.
Had Nanny left us last year, I think it would
have been extremely hard on all of us. I would
have been a real mess... It would have been
too sudden. But the past few months somehow
gave us some sort of 'warning' to prepare ourselves..
u know? Her condition was getting worse &
worse & Nanny wasn't 'herself' because of
it. (For those of you who aren't aware of what
I'm taking about, you may refer to May's
Newsletter) Ok it's 2.20a.m. & I just
feel like typing all this out, so if I'm not
making sense, well, erm.. just let me do my
thang. By the way, today was Justin & Joanne's
wedding. Talk about timing eh? But you know
what, at least Nanny got to be present in spirit!!
The wedding was beautiful & went well. Nanny
was there in spirit, yes Nanny was there in
spirit. Mummy, Papa, Uncle Myron & May couldn't
go to the wedding. Ok so once again it's 2.35a.m.
and I just drove back a moment ago. Mummy, Papa,
Aunty Joyce & our neighbour were (and still
are) sitting on the porch. I came upstairs 2
change & thought I'd do a quick update.
Renee & Edmund drove back to Hougang to
change into somehting more 'appropriate'.. but
seriously who cares right? I mean it's 2a.m,
Nanny won't mind?! Vanessa just arrived. It'll
be a long night for us. I wanna stay up with
Nannykins tonight.
So the last time
I kissed Nanny was on her birthday... I'm so
glad we celebrated her 86th birthday.. but darnit
I wasn't there when she blew the candles/cut
the cake!!! I was downstairs putting carpark
coupons man!! grrr... anyway yeah so that was
the last time I kissed Nanny.. which pisses
me off because I visited her in the hospital
yesterday (Friday morning) & I didnt even
kiss her cheek. I held/rubbed her hand though..
hmmm... but Mummy & I never said goodbye
because she was so 'out of it' and tired that
when we were around, she felt comfortable to
close her eyes..so when we had to leave we didn't
wake her.. why didn't I just give her a peck
on the cheek... *sigh*
Well Nanny knows
we all love her & will miss her tremendously...
I love her & I'll miss her tremendously.
It's so upsetting.... but I've got memories
now. Nanny brought me up. Nanny taught me how
to read. Nanny used to feed me when I was a
kid. Nanny punished me when I deserved it. Nanny
always helped me with any embroidery I had to
do for school. Nanny & I spent our many
holidays in Perth (Karinyup)together - just
the 2 of us-. ..list goes on.. I will always
have those memories. I will definitely cherish
those memories..
Nan, I love you.
Please watch over us all & pray for us.
& we'll be praying for you. I hope you are
happy & at peace. Hope you've met up with
all our beloved, dearly departed.. I'm sure
Uncle Brendan & Aunty Hedy & Grandpa..
hmm the list goes on.. anyway I'm sure they
were all there ready to greet you & make
you feel comfortable :) I think I'm gonna end
here for now & go visit you downstairs!

it will be Nanny’s 86th birthday
in a few days time, I would like to remind all of
you of our family gathering this Saturday, Sept
21 at 7.30pm over at Myron’s place. As far
as I can remember, Boudewyn’s gathering main
item has always been the menu…lots to eat
as well as to bring back too! However, I will not

article on the food for the evening as all of
you should know the quantity and quality will be
there.....

Goodness, it's 2.44am.. I've finally completed
converting Renee's Wedding pix into much smaller
thumbnails & had to do them individually! Damn
tedius man! My back is aching *hint hint .. glennnn!!*.
But I'm sure the pages are much better now & will
take a shorter time to load. If you want the thumbnail
enlarged, just click it... I've set the image
to open in a separate window. So the party's on
tonight! Nessa's bringing over an apple pie, instead

These are
a few of my favourite things...
Updates: A couple of messages have been left by
Uncle Myron & Maylena on the guestbook. Go check
them out. Also, check out the chatterbox I have
over there on the right column. I think it is
pretty cool! I’ll search the web for more
interesting and useful web addons. OH! There were
probably too many people viewing this site at
the same time causing it to exceed the bandwidth
for the hour. That’s the problem with these
free webpages. I think I have too many pix from
Renee’s wedding.. hehe.. so I'm gonna make
it a point to create thumbnails for her pix..
yes, yes it’ll take me forever.. but i’m
so sweet, I’ll sacrifice my Friday nite
to make sure it’s completed so that we won’t
have another -Bandwidth Exceeded- occurence.

Welcome
Everybody, to my newest website!
After
much thought, I’ve decided to make this
website all about my family. I know, I know, my
name is splattered all over the top of all the
pages, but hey! I’m the webmaster so tuff!
Recent events have contributed to the tons of
images available for me to share, the bulk of
them from Renee’s & Vanessa’s
weddings. At present, Renee’s wedding pix
are up. I am considering changing the layout,
but it’ll have to do for now.
Next
up: I still have to shrink Vanessa’s wedding
pix before I upload them. That’ll take a
while, am procrastinating.. I promise to start
on it soon… SOON!!!
I’ve
got the copy of the (immediate) Boudewyn family
tree Uncle Myron created a while back. I must
say, my great-grandparents & grandparents
look pretty spiffy in those black & white
portraits. I wish I could say the same for those
taken of my generation. I’m sure they’ll
agree with me when I say, “Damn, did we
take bad pictures back then or what!”. So
until I do a bit of a switch, I won’t put
this tree up yet. Or should I? *dum dum dummmmm*

taken with Nanny. She’s got a project she’s
working on which I think is absolutely adorably
sweet! Her requests for these photos got me thinking

It’s a CRAB fest! It’s a CRABBY affair!

Maylena Boudewyn’s birthday (which is on
July 25)!!!! & Aunty Pearly Shells’
as well. Congrats May! May all your birthday wishes
come true!

mentioned to me she’d like a Catholic section
on this website. I’m all for it! I’ll
let her choose/provide the content (prayers, news,
etc) & I’ll upload it. In fact, I can
also use this page to update everyone on Glenn
& Edmund’s proposed steps towards being
a Catholic. How kewl is that! Glenn hopes for
Father Erbin to guide him (or be the priest in
charge) so Holy Family is the church of choice.
I shall be his sponsor. Now a bit busy.. heh..
so we’ll settle for Sunday masses, but eventually
we’ll do the whole RCIA thang! Soon.. SOOON!

Yes,
yes. My very own streaming webcam. I hardly put
it on anymore, but for that ONE weekend I was
working on this website & found out I could
broadcast easily, I was sooo thrilled to see my
room online. OK, to be more specific, I was sooo
thrilled to see ‘my TV screen set on channel
MTV’ online. Maybe I’ll broadcast
the painting of my room to PINK
(ooooohhh..) which should happen in December,
for Christmas.
So
