Rev. Oke's Personal Fitness Page

This is the personal fitness page of Gary "Rev." Oke.  I have been working out and watching my diet since I got the fitness bug back in 2002.  I have learned a lot about fitness over the years, including what works for my body and what doesn't, and I continue to increase my knowledge daily.

This site will chronicle my current fitness routines (currently, I'm on the MuscleTech $50,000 Transformation Contest), my Shoulder Injury (and the following surgery and therapy), my 2005 Instone LifeChange Challenge results, and my 2002 Body-for-Life results.  I will also have some personal history and articles to browse.  On each page, you will find the supplements, workouts, and additional information that helped me along the way and may help you with your own fitness goals (or preventing injuries).  Every body is different, so what worked for me may not work for you, but the information inside is simple and general enough to help individuals of any health and fitness level.  Due note: I no longer believe or follow everything I did in my 2005 and 2002 transformation runs.  My knowledge of nutrition has changed and my training methods have drastically changed due to a shoulder injury.  The 2005 and 2002 pages are left here mainly for historical purposes and to help motivate others. Transformations are real.  The proof is on these pages.

If you have any questions for me, want the most up-to-date information on my current fitness quests, or just want some fitness tips.  I am reachable through my BodySpace page:

If you've never heard of BodySpace, it's sort of like MySpace for body building and fitness enthusiasts.  It's run by BodyBuilding.com and a great resource for tracking your progress, meeting like-minded individuals, and finding just about anything you need to meet your goals.  Just make sure to always "Question Everything" you read or hear from this or any other bodybuilding site.  That was my big mistake back when I started 2002.  I didn't research or question enough.

Disclaimer: I am not an expert by a long shot, so please use any of the information on these pages at your own risk and consult your local doctor or certified fitness professional before you start any program.  The programs outlined on these pages were highly customized to my physique.  Your results my vary.  Good luck building your perfect body.  It's all up to you.  These pages are only here to help.
