Rev. Oke's Transformation Contest History
I am sure you have all see the before and after pictures in magazines and on television of people that have made incredible transformations from fat to fit, and sometimes from fat to ripped. Typically, all these pictures are accompanied by advertisements for the one* of the product used in these amazing transformations, as if taking this one product will make you have the perfect body.
* = the fact is that no one product will help you get into shape. Sure, supplements have there uses and some of the winners of these transformation contests may have used supplement stacks (multiple supplements in combination) as expensive as $50-$100 a day to achieve that amazing body. If you want to look like the amazing "after" photo winners of these things, you could go as deep as your wallet allows, or you could do what I did: eat clean, work hard, and supplement sparingly (my last stack was under $4 per day).
The following are the transformation contests I have entered over the years. I find that transformation contests are a great way to stay motivated because they give you written and trackable targets and goals. Were my results as good as some of the winners of these contests (like the ones in all the magazines)? Of course not. Were my results really good? Yes. I had a 40-inch waist back in 2002. With hard work and determination, I can get it as thin as 33 inches and can maintain 35 pretty easily with a consistent diet and regular cardiovascular exercise. Whenever I falter a little be in my fitness routines, I find that a transformation contest is the quickest and easiest way to whip myself back into shape.
The Contests and Results:
Disclaimer 1: I am not an expert by a long shot, so please use any of the information on these pages at your own risk and consult your local doctor or certified fitness professional before you start any program. The programs outlined on these pages were highly customized to my physique. Your results my vary. Good luck building your perfect body. It's all up to you. These pages are only here to help motivate others.
Disclaimer 2: I no longer believe or follow everything I did in my 2005 and 2002 transformation runs. My knowledge of nutrition has changed and my training methods have drastically changed due to a shoulder injury. The 2005 and 2002 pages are left here mainly for historical purposes and to help motivate others. Transformations are real. The proof is on these pages.
A Sampling of My Transformations
2008: MuscleTech
My MuscleTech tranformation is in progress. So, for now, here are my before and after pictures after only 3 weeks (with 3" already burned off the waist). The final before and after photos will be posted after July 4, 2008. As you can see, I put on quite a gut in three years since Instone due to my shoulder surgery and not having a consistent workout plan in place. 2005: Instone
This is my back before and after my 14-week Instone run. Notice that I went from an "H-frame" complete with love handles to a "V-frame" with some definition in the back and shoulders. I was around 10% body fat after Instone. For complete result photos, CLICK HERE.

2002: Body-for-LIFE
Body-for-LIFE was my first transformation contest and I must admit, I had no idea what I was doing nutrition-wise during Body-for-LIFE. I lost a lot of weight and this program kick started my interest in body building, but I now know that there are better methods than Body-for-LIFE. For complete results, CLICK HERE. Below are a "Before" and two "After" pictures.
