Info on Obama's father, Barack Obama, Sr.: Barack Hussein Obama (1936–1982). Studied economics at University of Hawaii in 1959. In 1962, he pursued a Ph.D. in economics at Harvard, but finished with a Masters Degree in Economics from Harvard University in 1965. At age 46, he died of a car accident.
