TOWN Table Tent

COM 232

In Desktop Publishing, I used a combination of Adobe Illustrator, InDesign, and Photoshop to create the following projects. I first started off with my table tent. The restaurant TOWN is a high-end chinese restaurant. I wanted to create a simple table tent design that would either highlight their menu items or items. In this case, the chopsticks are the main focus of the table tent. The table tent states the chopsticks are hand-crafted for a more pleasurable experience.

TOWN Brochure Front

For this design, I continued the client's recommended color palette and logo style. I chose to create a brochure layout, focusing on catering parties. I included information about TOWN's chef to add personality to the brand. Contact information is also included in this catering menu. To keep everything consistent, I made the headings of the catering menu similar to the logo design, in terms of color, to further add unity to the design.

The inside of TOWN's brochure is the catering menu. This catering menu has the restaurant's most popular items, but caters to parties such as conferences, business parties, and weddings.

TOWN Menu

COM 232

For this project, I created a menu design for the restaurant "TOWN", which is a high-end chinese dining experience. I created a sleek, simple, and elegant design that followed the client's preferred color palette. I also created a lotus symbol to not only coordinate with the theme, but to serve as an allergy guide for those with food allergies. Overall, I have learned that it is important to understand your client's goals when it comes to creating a design that best represents their company. With TOWN, I achieved this by creating a professional, high-end design that represented TOWN's mission.

Fall Festival Flyer

COM 230 Graphics and Layout in Print Media

In this project, I created a "Fall Festival" flyer for a local community. To make the informational text and images stand out, I followed a simple fall themed color palette, and I organized the text in rounded rectangles to add to further simplicity to the design. I designed the layout (while keeping the fall color palette) with a main focus of hierarchy and emphasis.
