Walking
- For walking pain: Ginkgo biloba at 60-80mg of standardized leaf extract, 2-3 times a day. Let your doctor know if you are taking blood thinners. Good for improving blood flow in narrowed arteries in the leg that make walking painful.
- Make sure your walking shoes are meant for walking and are comfortable and cushioned properly.
- Walks in morning and evening are best.
- Make sure posture is correct. Don't drag your feet. Walk firmly and briskly, swinging arms opposite legs - keep head up and neck and shoulders straight and back, not slumped. Breathe.
