Hiccups
- There are several suggested rememdies and one may work well for you.
- Don't think about them. Concentrate strongly on something else...like try to spell elephantiasma backwards while hopping on one leg!
- Massage your earlobes.
- Have someone frighten and startle you.
- Hold your breath.
- Breathe into a brown paper pag, holding the bag tightly over your nose and mouth. This will build up carbon dioxide.
- Drink water continuously for a minute.
- Use your pressure point: press between your index finger and thumb firmly and steadily.
- Swallow a teaspoon of sugar at once.
