To check carpal tunnel syndrome and tendonitis, always use a wristpad when typing. Use wrist support at any keyboard.
Sit upright at your computer, with a chair with armrests and good back support. Use a wristpad. Keep armrests level with keyboard.
Blink regularly (twice every 10 seconds at least) - look away from the computer.
Do
neck and shoulder
exercises every day - get up every half an hour to stretch.
Do wrist exercises - rotate wrists, lift back and forth, clasp and stretch arms.
To relieve pain, use cold packs on wrists and Cortisone cream to relieve swelling. Avoid activity that aggravates the problem as much as you can.
