How to wear a T-shirt (#9)
Here's a simple to-do with your t-shirts: make them fit. Banish the old,
baggy, oh-so-dumpy tshirt and turn it into one that shows off your muscles
and your sexy shape.
Materials:
t-shirt
scissors
needle and thread or sewing machine and/or safety pins
ruler (optional)
1. Measure yourself. Measure carefully, not too tight, not too loose. You
can also use another tshirt that fits you well for comparison.
2. Now turn your tshirt inside out and mark off where you need to tighten
(usually along the sides and the arms). Draw lines all along the sides
of the tshirt and arms with an eyeliner or pencil. Make sure both left and
right are the same. Check with a ruler if you need to.
3. Cut off the arms to the length you'd like (leave a little extra to fold
inwards)
4. Sew or pin along the lines you've marked.
5. Finally, fold in the arms and sew them in place.
6. Turn your tshirt inside out and try it on - it should fit like a glove!
7. If it's bulky in places, cut away the excess cloth on the inside and
sew down or press neatly.
Ta da!
