I keep our Florida MiniBits up on the website in case you haven't been able to read yours, it was accidentally deleted, or you are not subscribed to the Minibits Archive! 

I am placing "help wanted" ads for the Florida sisters here! If you have a hankering to help, here is where you can find a way how!

We have grown so large here in Florida, that I cannot keep doing the entire regional job by myself, and I desparately need some volunteers! 

We have openings in the Florida region for the following:

Would you like to be more involved with LOTH, particularly FL LOTH, but aren't exactly sure "where to begin" or "what to do"???  If so,   please contact me as soon as possible!

While I am happy to have whatever help you want to offer, such as graphics sets for pages or to take a month and send all the birthday girls that month an e-card, I am looking for ladies interested in the following:

1.  FLORIDA LOTH GREETING COMMITTEE 

This involves greeting new FL LOTH sisters and showing them the "ropes" so to speak, some ladies that come into LOTH are very, very new on the computer and the internet and aren't sure what to do, and how to go about doing it!  Ideally I would love to have several WebTV ladies, AOL'ers and also "regular Internet" ladies. You visit their Web site (if applicable) and leave a "calling card" offering any help you can extend. 

2.  FL LOTH BUDDIES!!!!

I am looking for FL LOTH sisters who are willing to team up sisters and "buddy" each other for, oh, a week to a month!  The concept goes something like:  Have a list of HOPEFULLY 50+ FL Sisters and you pair up two ladies, you get to know each other, make new friends, etc. We could also mentor each other in Web skills, Netiquette, etc. This is a wonderful way for you to meet your FL LOTH sisters and get to know ladies!!!  We have over 175 FL LOTH sisters and I am *really* hoping that we can have lots of participants in this program!!!  Pleeeeeeze????  *g*  Cali and other regions have had wonderful success with this program, and it helps y'all to get to know your neighbors!!!
 

3.  FL SNAIL MAIL PROGRAM!!!

This program is where we *voluntarily* give our snail mail addresses and send out greeting cards via snail mail.  We can do this for birthdays, special holidays like in the December season Chanukah/Christmas/Yule, Easter/Passover and Valentine's Day - or however you can think of to implement this program!  Everyone likes to receive "just a note" in their mailbox on occasion, and this is a super way to extend warm thoughts!
