Brief History of the Blackthorne Family Clan

The Blackthornes crossed over from Ireland long ago and from there they passed through many realms. Eventually they came here to Ayenee where they made their main home. They had left behind family in all the realms they passed through, which would later set up the Blackthorne Chain that goes through out the realms. Over time they came to establish themselves as a main figure in the ruling clans of the realm of Ayenee. They had differences with the likes of Varsinax and others at time, but they worked most of these problems out. They became good friends with members of the Ravenhearts,Delioncourts,Blacktear,Lorez,Pendragon,Xexoria,and Meian clans and kingdoms. They were friends and are friends with many other clans and kingdoms as well and have come to be not only known in Ayenee, but able to be depended on when their friends are in trouble. Over time as with most good clans a darker evil faction split from them, this clan would one day play into the story as the original did and is. When a fiend of hell and an angel of heaven became the leaders of the clan they gave the clan a new ruling race that of infernals/celestials. The Sin wars constantly rage in the heavens and hells and with both sides looking to man to be the deciding factor the Blackthornes who came to learn about this decided to either help or harm man. The Darkthornes having been befriended by agents of hell sought to enslave man with power and have them unleash sin on the world. The Blackthornes who were not approached by either side went about trying to teach man to solve their own problems and be at peace. This sparked a war between the Blackthornes and Darkthornes one representing Chaos and other Order. It was a old fashioned good vs evil plot that had so many twist and turns in it that it was hard to see sometimes which side was fighting for good and which side for bad. The story is coming to a close and one of the two clans will be destroyed in these final days of decision for the Blackthornes have now been sought out by the angels to fight against the greater demons of Ayenee. Now with each side weilding weapons crafted of hell and heaven it's a mere matter of the final battle and the destruction of the old ways.

Brief Description of the Blackthorne Race

Being both celestial and infernal with the blood of the Blackthorne's in them they have a unique set of attributes. They live longer then humans do and most other races living, if they choose, to be 1,000 years old. They have mastery over the elements of water,shadow,light,fire, and the ability to travel in time if developed. They can bestow power upon normal individuals and also they gain power with the more good or bad deeds done in their lifetimes. Their features are also attributed to this life choice, whether they look more infernal or celestial is up to the choices they make in their lives. Their are 10 stages of development in the life of a Blackthorne that can ascend in these ranks. No Blackthorne has ever made it past the 6th stage of development, and the 10th stage is a being that is believed to be godlike. Blackthornes can be killed as any other living being,but they are known or believed to be able to be reincarnated within their family bloodline. Blackthornes can also fuse or merge with defeated foes or with allies to become new beings, this is believed to be required in order to ascend in some stages.
