A skilled warrior in all forms of hand to hand and weapons use, he can make a weapon out of almost any object. Having trained in the arts of assassination and the arts of necromancy at a young age he is very skilled in those two skills. A deadly warrior and a powerful mage he has made enemies tremble to death in fear at his power. He can also use the hatred and evil of his own soul to tempt demons from hell to come to him.

Attitude: He is a strong willed warrior and believes in never giving his opponents mercy. He never willingly shows emotion and his blunt honest can come off as an insult. His attitude towards things is always indifferent towards his family. Never having shed a tear over the death of his parents nor his other family it is hard to tell what is going on inside him. Drain to a darker calling his methods and actions are sometimes shrouded in mystery. Always believing he is the most powerful and the rightful one to rule the family his ego can sometimes be overpowering. He is a very handsome person and very skilled at anything he puts his mind to.

Family: Desmond has two younger siblings that are twins Reese and Orianna. His older brother's name is Vincent and besides those he has no one else. He has had many women in his life but has never acted attached to them or in love so it's hard to say whether he even cared when they left. His family is more of a group of people he has been left in charge to babysit. He sees potential in them but their ideals of right and wrong do not appeal to him.

Items: Having collected many powerful artifacts in his time he carries with him a sword. The sword was forged by Mephisto in hell and the blade itself was constructed from the blood of angels and millions of tortured souls. The black blade continuously weeps blood when removed from it sheath. It has the mind of a powerful demon trapped within it that can channel power through the blade into Desmond. He can also use the hatred and evil of his own soul to tempt demons from hell to come to him. He wears a ring he took from a necromancer that was an enemy of the clan. The ring is constructed from the bone of a dragon. It can be used to give him enough power that he can mentally attack his opponents and never have to move his physical form. The pure sword of lies the Mephisto blade allows Desmond to control the weak minded and make those of demonic blood become more aggressive.

History: Desmond grew up with a dark lust for power and controlling others. A warrior with a heart as cold as ice and a rage that burned with hell's fury. Always clam and cool under pressure. He spent years learning to use his mind to kill his foes. He grew up hating his father and mother for when the arrival of the twins caused him to lose the attention he got from them. He grew to hate even more their ability to freely show their emotions and how the felt about things. Always believing he was the strongest and the best as well as the most deserving to rule. He built upon this empire of hate and selfishness and soon began to dislike his brother and sister. He traveled across the land training under the most skilled teachers. When he returned to the clan the clan wars had begun. Everyone could see a change in him. He killed many opponents on the battlefield showing no mercy and never resting. It was here while trying to hunt down his own brother that he met the being known as Diago. They formed an alliance and Diago illustrated a plan that would help Desmond rule the clan and be rid of his two siblings. Desmond set out to kill the emperor as part of the deal with Diago. As long as Diago killed those he wanted dead. Desmond was betrayed and him and his men ambushed the emperor had been informed by Diago of Desmond's attempt. He cursed ever trusting that black heart demon and swore he would hunt him down till his dying day.

When Desmond broke free of the battle,after having killed the royal guard but unfortunately being unable in preventing the emperor's escape,he made his way back home. Arriving he found that Diago had killed his mother and made is father go mad with revenge. The rule of the clan was now in the hands of the twins and his plot had been exposed to the others. He and his were exiled from the clan. He created his own clan naming them the Darkthornes and vowing to one day return and destroy his weak family. For years his clan and his former clan fought neither side gaining much ground and each side losing many numbers. When he heard of the death of his father,at the hands of Diago,he became enraged. His war with his family became even more fierce and deadly as he took his hatred for Diago out on them.

After years of fighting he finally accepted Reese's hand as a brother. Having decided to rule with his family than against them. Also having seen his clan the Darkthornes become weak and rebellious. They now disgusted him and having seen his brother's darker tendencies he decided he could find a place amongst his family for now. His brother and him took up a dark alliance and their power combined showed for a powerful force. His brother had idolized him all along he found out and it was in his footsteps he had followed not his father's or mother's. Now he is a well respected member of the family and his rule along with his other sibling has become of equal power. Letting them take up the day to day things while he has become the war advisor a role he wears with much pride.
