From his first few years in Silver Springs, Maryland, through his youth in Madison Wisconsin, and into his rowdy college years in Iowa City, Keefe has always shown a love of music. The summer before high school, Keefe began writing his own solo music. His first creative exercise in music involved Blink 182-inspired emo/punk music. Keefe never really loved his own music until he wrote "Star Song" in his sophmore year at high school. Since that time he has written approximately 25 songs, with his playlist expanding daily. During his junior year, Keefe also played in a band in Madison. The band, named Opus In Freefall played about 5 shows, including the first gig of the Madison emo band Zero to Sixty Never. Keefe is currently continuing his education at the University of Iowa in Iowa City. In this college town he plays shows regularly at the Mill. He has also recorded his first demo CD which can be purchased from this site. Keefe is constantly growing musically and looks forward to playing shows in his hometown of Madison this summer.
